He has served as the Founder of the International Centre for Surgical Safety and previously held the Canada Research Chair in Simulation and Surgical Safety. With extensive expertise in human factors, healthcare innovation, and clinical research, Dr. Grantcharov continues to advance surgical safety worldwide.
