David Wyatt leads AORN as CEO. Previously he held executive perioperative leadership positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, HCA Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and the University of Kansas Hospital.

Renae Battié, MN, RN, CNOR, FAAN, joined AORN in 2019 as Vice President of Nursing to lead and manage the division of nursing which includes the Nursing Education, Nursing Practice, and Ambulatory Surgery Departments.
